Rainwear outside my kitchen window

Where I live, my house is on the corner of 2 pathways and from my front kitchen window I can see along the path that runs up the side of my house.

I couldn't believe my eyes shortly after I got home last night as I looked out of the front window and saw a woman walking her dogs in the rain wear a full length shiny pvc trenchcoat, a very rare sight nowadays but right outside my house!
My daughter caught me staring out of the window and questioned what I was looking at, and I replied that I was just looking at how hard it was raining!

I then had the idea of putting my own full length black pvc coat on and try to strike up a conversation with her as we had similar raincoats on. This coat was in the boot of the car so I quickly put some shoes on and made an excuse that I had left my mocile phone in the car and rushed out. Unfortunately by the time I had done this and had a quick run around the street to try and spot her again, there was absolutely no sign of her! Was she a neighbour further up the street and she had gone back into her house? I hope so as I would love to see her in her raincoat again, I have lived here for several years and this is the 1st such sighting!

I love moments like that when you just happen to be in the right place at the right time, its a real pick me up when I spot some gorgeous rainwear being worn.
