This is loosely to do with rain wear. I have had a pvc/rainwear/latex fetish for many years and my wife has partaken in wearing some rainwear or pvc outfits to please me but they had never really excited her or turned her on. Over the last few years we have been using plastic dust sheets on the bed to protect the bedding when using baby oil, this has been great fun as the feel of the plastic is lush and my wife has enjoyed it and appeared turned.
So last month I ordered a purple pvc mattress cover and top sheet from pvc-u-like, they arrived yesterday and whilst my wife was having a bath I discreetly put them on the bed, and lay waiting for her. My heart was racing as I didnt know how she would respond to the new pvc bedding....
She responded in a way beyond expectations, lets just say we stayed in the bedding for over an hour and was one of the best hour of sex in the 10years we have been married. She said she loved the feel of the top sheet over her body and enjoyed just lying there.
I'm not sharing this to gloat but to encourage those who partners maybe dont partake in your fetish, be creative and find ways to introduce pvc or plastic you never know where it might lead too.

If your partner doesn't like wearing (pvc) rainwear everytime because she thinks you don't find her attractive without, this is a good alternative! You can both enjoy each naked but also the pvc or whatever material that you fancy. I have also used rubberised nylon and pvc sheets for the same reasons.

Intherain, congrats, you have turned a corner. One item that most of us guys have to remember is to not let our preferences to become the only way our women think we are interested in them. I have not been married a real long time, but my wife was very accomadating when I told her about my preferences. This came up before we were sexual. But I took great lengths to make sure she was happy before I went into my area. Over the years she has surprised many times by doing many plastic things without my advance knowing. But last year some time she pointed out to me that she noticed that the plastic does two things for me. First, it is a huge sexual turn on. However, she belieives is is also a very strong "pacifier", like the "binky" blanket of a child. She has noticed that many times I like to go to sleep with my head on a plastic covered pillow. (The Euro-flex from Fetware are just great). Since we have no children at home anymore, she has asked me to wear a plastic raincoat from the time I get home, till bed time. And then sometimes no sex till morning. And I have to agree that the feeling does have a calming effect on me. Is it wrong? I don't think so, as it is not a compulsive thing with me. My job puts me on the road for hours a couple of times a month. If it is the least bit cloudy, I will wear a clear jacket (The funplastic Jeantex jx8tn). I do not get any negative comments from anyone, and matter of fact, I have had several women make a very nice comments, and more than once they touch it. Now, if I was a 40+ year old male wearing a bright pink raincoat, I think the attitudes would be different. It should not make a difference, but that is the way it is. But on those days that I wear the raincoat for hours, I find I am indeed very calm. Again, I see no harm on this.
So now that you have found a little bit of common ground, I'll bet you could play a waiting game with her, and within a few weeks, she will ask for those sheets. Then you can tell her, "Only if you want to" with a smile. But always, treat her as your best friend and the woman she is, before you ever inject your request.
And congradulations.

Yes very nice indeed. We also use plastic decorating sheets with baby oil feels so nice as you slide around on the plastic.intherain wrote: April 12th, 2011, 10:23 am This is loosely to do with rain wear. We also have pvc you u like black under sheet and top sheet that we use with out the oil as not to spoil the pvc .
It's a fantastic feeling when we are both under the top sheet playing around as it gets hot and clings to us
Really lovely sheets.

My guess is that more people enjoy the touch of plastic/PVC/rubber to lie and move around on than to really wear it as a specific outfit.intherain wrote: April 12th, 2011, 10:23 am I'm not sharing this to gloat but to encourage those who partners maybe dont partake in your fetish, be creative and find ways to introduce pvc or plastic you never know where it might lead too.
With an outfit the size, fit, style of the outfit has to match their liking while with a sheet you can just enjoy it without hassle.
I have been tinking of ordering some rubber/latex sheets myself and your story reminds me to hurry up with it!

PVC PRESERVATION INFORMATION NOTICE:
I hope you enjoy your PVC fun. But, on the matter of baby oil (or ANY oil or fat, for that matter)........
please note that ALL oils (skin oils, vegetable oils, cocoa butter, mineral oil, aromatherapy essential oils, lard, butter, you name it) can leach the plasticizers out of the PVC, over time. This will cause your PVC garments to stiffen and, eventually, fall apart from embrittlement. The plasticizers are lipophilic ('fat-loving'), meaning that oils and fats make a good solvent for dissolving these plasticizers. Oils anf fats will gradually dissolve the plasticizer, considerably shortening the life of your valued or, possibly rare, PVC clothing/garment.
So, lube-wise it is better to use a water-based lube free of any type of oil or fat. Aloe vera-based lube, for example, is perfectly compatible for PVC.
Just some info. which I hope you find useful.
