I'm a man, too, I like to wear a pvc raincoat.
It's usually women who wear this style of raincoat, it's a shame.
I would like everyone to wear these pretty raincoats regardless of gender.
Unisexism of raincoats!

The main prob imho is the big majority of men doesn't care much for fashion, the buy what fashion industry offers "for men", what's available in local stores, without thinking much about it, and/or they avoid everything which might look a little bit "female" style bc a man has to be the strong one whilst a woman can be weak and vulnerable and so she has to get protection e.g. with a proper raincoat. These old stereotypes are so f...ing annoying! I can't count all the endless hours I spent looking for special pieces of rain and puffer fashion for men.

A little example from the puffer coat world: Look at the men's section for an extralong shiny puffer coat styled like the Moncler Hudson for the ladies. You won't find one, perhaps only a strange Chinese one with strange measurement/sizing where the sleeves often are too short. I solved that problem with a custom-tailored coat in a very similar style, I ordered an extra length going well with my size. Without that custom tailoring that dream wouldn't have become true.

People - male people - should communicate a strong demand for such more fashionable pieces. If only 1 guy out of a million does so, nothing will change.

Luckily there are some great unisex items in the raincoat world like the Stutterheim Stockholms or the Farmerrain Retros.

Being forced to wear my cagoules, layer after layer put on me, tied using the arms and legs of other rainwear until i cant move and then with all the hoods tied tightly, used as the master/mistress see’s best. Or wearing pvc maids uniform, plastic pants, Peter storm cagoule and over trousers over the top so my pvc outfit isn’t found until over trousers are removed
and tied to a tree in our local nature reserve for anyone passing by to use. (When i was younger and single i had a guy suggest this to me and we were considering doing it but it never came to fruition but has been a fantasy ever since).

Some time ago, I found a Guy COTTEN raincoat, unisex shiny black. I wore it a few times, my wife liked it, today she wears it.
While consulting the Farmerrain catalog, I found a glossy black unisex one whose cut corresponds more to a man, I will soon acquire it.
It is true that in stores, at least here in France, you can only find "fashionable" raincoats reserved for women. If a man wears this style of raincoat, he is subject to "mocking" looks from other people.
So, you have to dare to express yourself and dress as you wish.

To be back in the 80:s with my girlfriend at the time, wearing our thin nylon rainwear, hers blue and mine red. They were so shiny , swichy and really slippery and we had them on a lot, if it was a risk for rain we used to wear them. Remember one morning when our dog was in a hurry when we were out on our sailing boat. Been mooring on a small island and we had to get on land quickly. Just put our rainwear on and got of the boat A so exciting walk watching my girlfriend moving in her shiny rainwear, her pants so swichy and her boobs moving in her jacket. When we were back at the boat, we were both quite excited and played for a long while with our thin nylon rainwear on. Happy to have quite many pictures from that time and sometimes I look at them and I’m back in my fantasy. Married for many years bu still those memories and fantasy comes back to me.

Mine is a little strange I'm sure for many people's tastes...... but my fantasy is a fusion of the 1980s and the present day. It involves being marched by the hand by Kirstie Allsopp (current day UK television presenter) to a traditional outfitter in the 1980s, for the purpose of buying a navy blue nylon pakamac.
