Recent spam problems

I've just removed every one of "Agatha's" posts for his so-called Moncler jackets; unfortunately Paul and I cannot be online 24 hours a day for obvious reasons: however we do manage to pick up the majority of spam within hours (sometimes even minutes) of it appearing here, delete everything and ban the morons posting this kind of rubbish.

The best way to handle it is ignore these posts, and privately IM Paul or myself the moment you spot something (spam or other offensive posts): they will appear in our e-mail notifying us of problems here; hope this helps!

Got someone that made a nice suggestion on how to stop many of these, I implemented his change. He did say that he made the suggestion to the developers of phpBB3 so hopefully it will automatically be included in the next upgrade.

Instead of sending us an email or PM you can just click the orange exclamation mark on the bottom right side of offending posts. This will also alert us moderators of a problem with a post.

I agree with hotwilly. We certainly don't say it enough but thanks for keeping the forum so enjoyable & viable.
