Multi layer

Post by Gerlid »

Hi!
The bitter winds and rain is taking the summer away here and I dress for this challenge. Today, beeing alone at our summer house, I have to dress properly to endure the weather.
First a nylon windbreaker from the 80:s, then two sets of thin, singel layer nylon rainwear and on top my pretty new 2 layer nylon rainwear. 5 layer of nylon will protect me from wind and rain! I fact, it’s only my new rainwear that is really waterproof, the old ones are ok windbreakers but not so much more. But they still have a very nice feeling.

Do you like to put on multi layers of rainwear? And how do you prefer your multi layer?

If I am having a gearing up session, I will wear two cagoules and two pairs of raintrouserrs (and wellies). Occasionally, I will wear more layers, but two is the usual. At the most, I have probably managed 10 layers (pics to prove it)! Progressively, I have become absolutely comfortable to be out and about wearing two cagoules. I am happy that it is obvious that there are two (top one not fully zipped or both hoods showing). I have come to realise that most people probably don't even notice and that even if they do, they don't think anything is strange. I will happily be in a supermarket or having a drink outside a pub like this these days.

It is a continuous thread on here and elsewhere that as raingear fetishists we, for some reason, think that everyone else will immediately realise what is going on rather than just think either nothing or that we are simply just wearing a cagoule/raincoat/rainsuit. Funnily enough, non fetishists also wear the gear we like! While our 'gear radar' will notify us immediately of someone wearing the gear we like, non fetishists don't have the same alert that we get. As mentioned above, I'm sure that only a fellow cagoule fetishist would think anything if they see me wearing two cagoules. The rest of the world just get on with their days....

This is true as a fetish wearer I also think that people will put 2 and 2 together and know I have a fetish for rainwear ect.
But I also look at what other people are wearing and think is that there kink .I don't know so think to myself that probably don't know that what I'm wearing is my kink.
We just automatically over think .
