What is your favourite weather?
When I am out walking in the rain and hear someone say “isn’t the weather awful”, I usually reply, “could be worse, it’s just a case of wearing the right clothing”. My main occasion for outings is when I do volunteer dog walking. They don’t like you taking the dogs out if it is raining hard (presumably as they end up with kennels full of very smelly hounds), but light rain, or the threat of rain is OK. So for me, a day that is threatening rain, allowing me to wear my Regatta over trousers and Peter Storm cagoule is ideal. I’m not confident enough yet to go out dressed in a PVC mac, but one day. I really don’t mind rain or not, so long as I get to wear my rainwear.

Re: Best Weather
For me the best weather is rain in the warmer months. At this time of year when rain comes it is quite often only a few degrees above freezing which lessens the enjoyment, so during the winter I tend to wear rainwear out of sheer necessity rather than going out for a walk or bike ride on purpose for the sake of enjoying it. I know that there are plenty of people on here who like being out in really cold conditions of frost or snow, but I am not one of them.
Re: Best Weather
To get out in the rain is something i look forward to regardless of the time of year, as soon as there is the forecast for rain im keeping my eye on the weather and thinking about what to wear when it does start raining. My favourite type of rain is the heavy rain with strong winds as i like to get really wet when out in the rain, Im normally out for 3-4 hours and people do ask me when I'm just standing or sitting around why im out and I just reply im just enjoying the weather. To hear more tales of people's time out in the rain would be great.

My favorite weather is rain, too. It gives me the opportunity to put on my rain gear. It's so nice to walk around in the rain dressed in a shiny raincoat! I would like to live in a world where everyone, young and old, male or female, will wear beautiful waxed raincoats, pvc, vinyl or other shiny materials!
