Just a quick note that I am forced to remove any references to a site that sounds like "?lastic ?overs dot kou dot you kay". Please do not post anything about them on the forum again. If I can make a recommendation it is best to avoid them at all cost. I will gladly share the letter I got from them with anyone who is interested. It contains the contact information of the man behind it should you wish to contact him and give him a peace of your mind. They are very angry people it seems and I am afraid of them.
Thanks for your support and compliance.

Re: Threatened with legal action (again)
hardly a loss. I had the misfortune to visit their site once but we all make mistakes
Re: Threatened with legal action (again)
Hi, Paul
I imagine that this has arisen through someone posting a link to one of the pirate sites that allow you to download material that would otherwise only be available on subscription.
Technically, as you are the publisher on this site, you would be liable. It is not clear if the letter you have received is from the parties behind the site in question or their solicitors. If they have taken legal advice, it is likely to have been that though it would be possible to sue you, the cost of an international action would be very expensive and they would be expected to pay a substantial sum on account of costs. They would also have to be able to prove that they suffered an actual loss (which is not as easy as it sounds).
The usual advice is that a letter threatening legal action will probably do the trick. I used to work in the law, and have writtten such a letter on behalf of clients on a number of occasions.
I think you have done the right thing by removing the offending post. I am not sure it is helpful to suggest your members contact them direct. They are, after all, within their rights to object to the offending post.

Just another commercial operator throwing their weight around. I find the site you mention very sterile anyway. Just porn models going through the motions rather than real fetish people, and at 25 euros a month, very expensive.
Sounds like a site that is not doing as well as it was and trying to plug all the holes in their finances.
