Has anybody on this forum been receiving threatening e-mails demanding payment to stop supposed pictures of yourselves doing things of sexual nature when using this forum being sent to your contacts.

No. Sounds like a scam. There is a profile setting “Users can contact me by e-mail” which you should turn off.

Scam! Dont do anything but delete, they dont have anything just phishing, bet they want money to not send them. Old well known scam to scare you.

I get about three of these every week! It's a very common scam, and they are nothing to worry about.

Just delete and block the little bastards

As Mason says it's nothing to worry about. The best bit is we had some in our work emails. Good luck to anybody trying to watch my work pc. Somebody wanted a zoom call and we couldn't find a camera in the whole building.
