See-through plastic macs were obviously very popular in the 1950's. I should know because I grew up in those years. Thank you for posting.

I had a Russian visiting worker staying with me for several weeks in the mid to late 1960s. He wore a plastic mac every day when out and about similar to the ones I had worn throughout the 1950s. It was good to see a plastic mac hanging up in my hallway once again.
