Reversible pvc blue and yellow suit

Post by staggy »

Was it someone in here who just won the eBay auction for a reversible yellow and blue rain suit? £322!! I went to £230 but that was me beat! I’m lucky enough to have lots of the jackets but only one pair of trousers

I saw that, absolute madness!
I'm guessing that was due to the trousers as those jackets turn up occasionally and never go near that price.

Seems bonkers to me now that PUL have their blue/yellow fabric back in stock.

I bought a pair of trousers privately once but first time I’ve ever seen a pair on ebay, even the last few jackets have gone for quite a high price. May have to start selling mine!

unless that rain suit was smooth on both sides and a softer texture than the PUL BLS4 material, i don't understand why someone would place a bid that high.

Yes, this was one of my auctions, the rainsuit was an original 1980's one with the slippery smooth yellow side, I bought the suit on ebay about 18 months ago for £10, I nearly fell of my chair when I saw what it sold for! Fair play to the winning bidder, they've paid and the suit is now on it's way to Germany.

i have a raincoat like that where the yellow side was smooth but the blue side was kind of the non stick textured side.
