Gary, that’s a worrying statement. Not just from the selfish point of view about the risk of losing the most wonderful PVC retailer, but from the point of your own physical and mental health. Do you care to elaborate?

I’ll take a stab at seeing postings from people buying cheap plastic stuff from Temu and the likes must be hard to swallow. Some of us appreciate the huge difference between the quality, passion and effort behind PVC-U-LIKE. 100% of everything plastic that I own comes form you and I intend for that always to be the case (not as many garments as I’d love to own but I’d have to be a millionaire to do that!).

Hi Cherie, I appreciate the sentiment, PUL like so many businesses in the UK has been hit with numerous shocks over the years such as Brexit, Covid and now the hike in NI and the living wage. Of course we want to stay in business and to be honest whilst you have a guy at the helm who like most of you has a crazy fetish for all things PVC you can count on every effort to keep it alive but the pressure is on.

Physically and mentally I am slowly falling apart but at 62 you have to expect it, my love of the business keeps me going and the wife know's if I stop I will probably implode so let's hope the NHS keeps me going for a few more years yet!

PUL is dead almost! long live PUL

Gary, sounds like you need an apprentice who shares your love. A member here maybe who lives not too far from where you are. Maybe more than one person, or run the business like a PVC fetish community - lots of people all chipping in to help out in various tasks to take the weight off you. It would be brilliant if members could come together to help you out for the preservation of the best PVC site that exists (in my opinion anyway). The main thing I have learned as I get older (we are about the same age) is you have to say no sometimes and let others take over the reigns - I have always been terrible at never doing that. Also you can pick the bits you love doing the most and get others to do the less interesting parts.

Fanciful and idealistic I know!

Anything I can do to help just let me know.

"PUL is dead almost!"

Oh yeah? One wouldn't know it from looking at your website. But I concur, Long Live PUL!
Here's a great image that I believe is an oldie of yours, and has always been one of my favorites and one that I'd think should renew anyone's love for vinyl plastic wear...I suspect it's one of your oldies.

I instantly fall in love with this picture. The glass clear blue material in this batch was perfect. It is very glossy, clear, shiny, soft and sticky. I hope most, if not all glass clear materials replicate such qualities. Surprisingly, BKS13 and WHT2 qualities was off the charts by exemplifying the ultra glossiness never before seen, something I desire deeply in glass clear materials. However, the recent batch of glass clear blue tends slightly towards the qualities of natural transparent where it is slightly matte and cloudy. I can tell by just looking at the photos.

I named that image "Showoff" because the model looks like she's deliighted to be wearing that outfit, and to be able to show it off. I had quite a few other photos of her in different PVC-U-LIKE outfits, along with a couple hundred other photos of models in plastic outfits on Pinterest, but lost them all when those assholes threw me off their site.
