The sound of rainwear

Post by Gerlid »

Hi

To me it looks like every material in rainwear makes their own sound. They rustle, they swisch, my older sailing jacket and pants made of PVC on nylon have it’s own sound, don’t know how to describ that sound in english.

An I have realised that some of the excitment comes from the sound of my rainwear, for exampel:

If I move in my thin nylon rainwear, it’s very swischy and I get pretty excited from that. The same when I scratch my rainwear with my nails, if I scratch it over my nippels I turn on from the sound and the stimulation. And yes, most men have quite sensitive nippels but many don’t know or talk about it.
My girlfriend in the 80:s also got excited when I scratched her tits and nippels when she had her nylon rainwear on, and she even made coments about the sound.

So I wonder: How much do you get excited from the sound of your rainwear? Do you get excited from the sound at all?
What is your favorit material, talking about the sound from it? And how would you describe the sound?

The sound is a huge deal for me. Especially nylon. I’m very in tune to how different types of nylon and plastic sounds. Have you ever worn a pair of unlined nylon pants over a pair of plastic pants? The sound/feel combination of the two is amazing.

In addition to the sound of my rainwear, the sound of the rain changes when I'm walking in the woods. We have a lot of Douglas fir trees here in western Washington, and when I'm walking in the woods the tall trees filter out some of the raindrops, so walking's pretty quiet. But if I walk into a space where are mostly maple and alder trees, the rain hitting the leaves is pretty noisy, drowning out any sounds my rainwear makes...but not the feel.

I have one of the cotton backed PVC anoracks in black, and I do like the squeaky noise that it makes, and I like the swishing noise that is made by thin proofed nylon, especially if it is worn by a woman. If there is a noise that I really like it is the sound of heavy rain falling on the roof, it really gets me going, it brings on thoughts of being out in my rainwear in the pouring rain.

The rustling noise of plastic garments of all sorts when being handled or worn is definitely a turn on. This was already a turn on when I was a child and being put into plastic panties over cloth diapers.
Even a certain percentage of people who don't wear plastic clothing themselves like the rustling and sqeaking sounds of raincoats, rainjackets, vinyl bodysuits, vinyl trousers, dresses and catsuits. Because of this you find so many ASMR channels with the "artists" regularily wearing plastic and making sounds with it.
