Rainwear day

First rainy day in weeks, have been hot and dry in Sweden.

Loved my morning walk with my dog, rainwear on ofcourse. First my thin nylon windbreaker and then my 2 layers nylon rainwear. So nice feeling with all that nylon on bare skin.

Met the 2 sisters living in 2:nd house from us and their little dog. One of them in quite shiny rainwear, the other in a soaked padded, nylon jacket. They were happy and nice as always and we have known each other since we were children. Many years ago, when we were teenagers, we did a lot of things together, many that we were not supposed to do. Smoking, drinking wine etc.
Now they were just happy for the rain and I really liked their outfits. Shiny from the rain
She who had her padded jacket on were soaked and regretted her outfit.

What do you chose for a rainy day like this? What outfit is you favorite?

We seem to be having a dry spell in the Southwest UK at the moment, but when we get some rain my favourite outfit is a long PVC mac, a cotton tee shirt and a pair of black PVC shorts.

What do you chose for a rainy day like this? What outfit is you favorite?

I also love being out in the rain and when I go out my current favourite is a 3 quarter length nylon raincoat in charcoal black and then a long leather skirt, I can be out for hours at a time and do get really wet and my raincoat then looks all shiny from the rain.

On rainy days recently I've been wearing a clear 'Jelly' coat that I bought from the Army and Navy store many years ago. It's still going strong. I bought my first clear blue plastic 'bomber jacket' in the mid 70's from a boutique, it was quite expensive, then short plastic jackets became very commonplace and affordable. Nowadays they're hardly ever seen.

I like going out in the rain dressed in my lovely nylon waterproof all in one puddle suit. It's so nice to wear next to my skin too.

Nylon macs it is a pity we could not go out walking together in the rain all dressed up in waterproofs.
