Weathervain coat

My third and final sbr mac from weathervain definitely is the best. Between the shininess, the sound of it slapping into itself as I walk, and the smell it really is a experience to wear. I wish more people wore SBR so we could keep it in production.

Looks great wish I had one but for me just a little longer, will you be wearing it out in the rain or is it just for pleasure and dry days

Yeah I do wear it out in the rain during late night walks or on a walking trail. I do baby it though so it lasts. I like the below the knee length. I know a lot of people prefer the hussar length ones but I'm a huge fan of them, plus they drag on the ground at times and collect all manner of detritus.

Thank you! I do usually wear them with rubber riding boots but this time I'm rocking my hunter hip waders with them

Sorry I was half asleep and I missed read your post as you saying they had found a supplier.

As I last contacted Stephen he said he could not find someone who could make the SBR fabric still

WOW! That looks great, I remember buying an SBR cape from Weathervain in the 90s and it lasted for 20yrs plus, then seemed to deteriorate in a very short space of time, dried out and delaminated
I unfortunately never got around to buying a SBR Mac from them, but I did purchase a few single textured Mac’s thou.
