Mortelle Randonnée (1983)

Post by Pvc Vinyl Enthusiast »

A generous serving of authentic PVC (Polyvinylchloride) rainwear many of us may remember from the 1980s era (well, I was only a little nipper in 1983).

In this French film from 1983, titled: 'Mortelle Randonnée' (translates to: 'Deadly Journey'), actress Isabelle Adjani, starring as a French brunette named Catherine, is wearing a glossy transparent blue 'PVC jelly jacket'.

From 1 hour 46 minutes into the film, to almost the very end, she can be seen wearing the jelly jacket more or less continuously. That's around 14 minutes of PVC eyecandy! Speaking of eyecandy, some of those classic French cars (the Citroens particularly) were beauts. Shame about the sad demise of Catherine towards the end of the film (and, yes, the jelly jacket sadly goes with her, too).
