Be Careful What You Wish For…
True Story of Madam, Her Slave, and the Birth of Marcia
Part 1 — The Secret Blue Raincoat
There's an old saying that I've come to understand a little too well.
"Be careful what you wish for. You just might get it."
Before I begin, I want to make something very clear. This isn't fiction, nor is it something I've dreamed up for a rainwear forum. And I'm certainly not writing this to brag. Believe me, there are days when I seriously question what the hell I've gotten myself into!
This is our real life. My wife and I live a 24/7 Female-Led Marriage, and what started as a secret fascination with women's raincoats has evolved into something neither of us could ever have imagined.
But perhaps I should introduce us first.
We're both in our late 40s, happily married, and probably appear to be a fairly ordinary couple.
I'm a military pilot. I've always had a very alpha personality. I'm accustomed to responsibility, making decisions, being assertive, and generally being the one in control.
My wife is almost my complete opposite.
She's a petite, absolutely beautiful Italian woman, a dedicated fitness fanatic who practically lives at the gym, and someone who takes tremendous pride in looking after herself and our family.
At first glance, you'd probably assume she's a strong, assertive woman who takes charge of everything. She certainly has that look about her!
But in reality, she's always been quite the opposite. She's gentle, loving, not particularly confrontational, and certainly not someone who goes looking for an argument. She's always preferred keeping the peace rather than demanding her own way.
She's also an incredible wife who does so much for me and our family. I honestly couldn't imagine my life without her.
We have very different personalities, but somehow, they complement each other perfectly.
To anyone looking in from the outside, there's probably nothing particularly unusual about us.
Except, of course, for one rather significant detail.
Despite my naturally dominant personality, somewhere along the way, the balance of authority in our marriage shifted rather dramatically.
And I don't mean just in the bedroom.
"Madam is in charge. Period."
At home, out shopping, running errands, on holidays, or simply going about our everyday lives, there is no longer an imaginary switch that turns our arrangement on and off.
What began as something private has gradually evolved into a 24/7 Female-Led Marriage.
I'm still the same confident, assertive man I've always been in my professional life. But in our marriage, I've willingly given my wife a very different kind of authority.
And believe me, she has absolutely no intention of letting me forget it!
The most remarkable part is that this wasn't always her personality. The beautiful, gentle, normally non-confrontational woman I married discovered an entirely new side of herself.
A side that has become increasingly confident, assertive, and remarkably comfortable making the rules.
"My wife didn't simply become Madam behind closed doors. She became Madam everywhere."
And if you think being outside the house means I somehow get a break from her authority, think again.
But it certainly didn't start that way.
I've had a fascination with women's rainwear for as long as I can remember.
The shiny materials, the soft linings, the sounds they make, the way they move, and, above all, those wonderful metal snap fasteners.
But there was always another part to my fascination.
I didn't simply want to wear women's raincoats.
I wanted someone else to decide that I had to wear them.
Especially long raincoats, turned inside out, sometimes layered over one another, with someone else deciding when I could take them off.
For years, this remained my deepest secret.
Nobody knew.
Not my friends, not my colleagues, and certainly not my wife.
Eventually, I secretly purchased a beautiful long blue Farmerrain raincoat. I also found myself talking to Dommes online, exploring fantasies I'd never believed would become reality.
Now, I need to explain something.
I was happy in my marriage. I loved my wife deeply and had absolutely no desire to replace her or leave her.
I just never imagined in a million years that the woman I'd married could possibly understand this side of me.
Let alone become part of it.
Well, eventually, my wife discovered what I'd been looking at.
And let's just say things weren't exactly sunshine and rainbows in our house that day.
She wanted answers.
And quite understandably, she wasn't particularly thrilled about discovering that her husband had been hiding this entire side of himself.
For the first time, I genuinely feared losing her.
She made it clear that if we were going to move forward, I needed to attend sex therapy.
And because I loved my wife and desperately wanted to save our marriage, that's exactly what I did.
Each week, I attended therapy, and between appointments, my therapist gave me a workbook to complete.
The idea was to help me understand where these desires had come from, why they were so important to me, and why I'd spent my entire life keeping them secret.
As the weeks went by, the exercises became increasingly personal. Eventually, my therapist encouraged me to write down everything. Not just my fascination with raincoats, but every fetish, fantasy, and desire I'd never been able to share with another living soul.
And believe me, that wasn't easy.
Here I was, a grown man who'd spent his entire adult life being confident and assertive, yet I could barely bring myself to put some of these things on paper.
But I did.
The ultimate goal of therapy was clear. My therapist told me that if I wanted to rebuild the trust in my marriage, I needed to come clean with my wife. Completely. No more secrets.
I knew she was right.
So, I started writing everything down, slowly working up the courage to have what I knew would be the most embarrassing conversation of my life.
There was just one little problem.
My wife found the workbook before I found the courage to tell her.
While I was at work one day, she began reading what I'd written.
Everything.
The raincoats. The leather jackets. The puffy coats. The layers. The snaps. My fascination with being made to wear women's clothing. Even the fantasies I'd been so ashamed of that I'd never dared speak to them aloud.
All those secrets I'd spent years carefully hiding were suddenly sitting there in black and white.
And I hadn't even been there to explain any of it.
When I came home from work, she told me she'd read my workbook and wanted to talk.
I honestly wanted the floor to open up and swallow me.
I can't begin to describe how embarrassed I was. This wasn't how I'd planned to tell her. I'd imagined carefully choosing my words, explaining things gradually, perhaps starting with the raincoats and working my way towards the more difficult subjects.
Instead, she'd read the whole bloody thing!
There I was, sitting across from my beautiful wife, knowing she'd just discovered things about me that absolutely nobody else in the world knew.
I was terrified she'd look at me differently.
But then something happened that I hadn't expected.
She started asking questions.
Not to ridicule me. Not to make me feel ashamed.
She genuinely wanted to understand.
And for the first time in my life, I began explaining everything I'd been too frightened to admit.
What I didn't realize was that this incredibly embarrassing conversation would eventually change both our lives.
But I told her…
Everything…
Or at least as much as I could bring myself to admit at the time.
I explained my fascination with raincoats, particularly wearing them inside out against my bare skin, sometimes with another raincoat worn properly overtop. Why being told what to wear was so arousing to me, and why the idea of surrendering control was something I'd secretly wanted for years.
As therapy continued, more came out.
Women’s Leather jackets.
Women’s shiny Puffy coats.
Multiple layers.
Metal snap fasteners.
And eventually, even my fantasies about forced feminization and forced to be her sissy raincoat slave.
Things I'd never trusted another human being enough to share.
I was terrified of what she'd think.
But something rather extraordinary happened.
She wasn't disgusted. She was intrigued…
She asked questions. She listened. And rather than rejecting me, she began trying to understand this part of her husband she'd never known existed.
And somewhere along the way, she made a discovery of her own.
She rather liked the idea of being in charge.
Now, you must appreciate the irony of this situation.
Here I was, a confident, assertive man who'd spent years secretly fantasizing about having a dominant woman in his life.
And sitting across from me was my beautiful, petite wife, a woman who ordinarily avoided confrontation, slowly discovering that perhaps she had a rather commanding side of her own.
At the time, I thought I'd won the bloody lottery.
Little did I know.
About a month or so later, we were getting ready for bed when my wife rather unexpectedly told me to take off my clothes.
Something about her tone was different.
This wasn't a suggestion.
It was an instruction.
Then she produced my long blue Farmerrain raincoat.
The very raincoat I'd secretly purchased.
She told me to put it on.
"Inside out."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
After years of keeping this fantasy buried, here was my own beautiful wife, standing in front of me and telling me to do precisely what I'd dreamed about for so long.
But she wasn't finished.
She stepped closer and began fastening the raincoat herself.
One snap at a time.
"SNAP"
She pressed the first metal snap closed.
"SNAP"
Then another.
There was nothing hurried or uncertain about her movements. She was remarkably matter-of-fact, taking her time, carefully lining up each fastener before pressing it shut.
"SNAP"
With every snap, the long blue raincoat closed a little further around me.
I stood there almost speechless, watching this normally gentle, non-confrontational woman calmly fastening the very garment I'd secretly fantasized about wearing for years.
And she seemed in absolutely no hurry.
When the final snap was secured, I thought she was finished.
I was wrong.
Without saying a word, she reached behind my neck, pulled the raincoat's hood up over my head, and carefully adjusted it before taking hold of the drawstrings.
She pulled them snug and tied them firmly beneath my chin.
Then she stepped back to inspect her work.
Apparently satisfied, she looked me straight in the eyes.
"There's something you need to understand," she said calmly. "From now on, whenever I tell you to wear a raincoat, it will be worn properly. Every snap fastened, the hood up, and the drawstrings tied. You will keep it that way unless I specifically tell you otherwise. Is that understood?"
I nodded.
"Good."
There was no discussion. No uncertainty. She delivered her instructions with the same casual confidence someone might use to remind you to take your shoes off at the door.
Except this was my wife.
My beautiful, petite, normally gentle wife.
And she'd just established her very first rule about my raincoats.
Then, as though the evening couldn't possibly become any more extraordinary, she informed me that I would be sleeping in it.
"All night."
And there would be absolutely no complaining.
At first, I was delighted.
This was everything I'd ever imagined!
Except that once we were in bed, I discovered my wife had a slightly different interpretation of how the night was going to unfold.
I wanted to turn the night into something more intimate.
She had other ideas…
She made it quite clear that the raincoat was staying on and that she would decide how the rest of the night would unfold.
As she climbed into bed beside me, I instinctively moved closer, desperate to cuddle her. The excitement of finally experiencing something I'd fantasized about for years was almost overwhelming.
But she simply said, "No."
And that was that.
She wasn't angry or upset. In fact, she seemed remarkably calm, almost amused by how completely flustered I had become.
She kept me close beside her, but made it clear that there would be no further intimacy. I was to remain in my raincoat, keep still, and follow her instructions for the rest of the night.
I soon discovered that lying beside the woman you love, desperately wanting her affection while knowing that the evening wasn't going to unfold as you'd hoped, can make for an extraordinarily long night.
Every time I became restless, she calmly reminded me of the rules.
There was to be no arguing, no negotiating, and certainly no changing her mind.
And the most frustrating part?
She seemed perfectly content to fall asleep!
Meanwhile, I lay there wide awake, wrapped in my long blue raincoat, every snap fastened and the hood tied beneath my chin, wondering how something I'd dreamed about for so long had suddenly become such an exercise in patience.
It was an unforgettable first night.
And as I stared into the darkness, one thought kept running through my mind.
What the hell have I gotten myself into?
There would be no negotiating.
And certainly, no getting my own way simply because I happened to be feeling particularly affectionate.
I spent much of that first night wide awake, completely overwhelmed by the experience, while my wife seemed remarkably pleased with herself.
I had spent years fantasizing about a woman taking control.
Now I was discovering what it felt like when that woman happened to be my own wife and she genuinely enjoyed making the decisions.
And the funniest part?
I was supposed to be the alpha personality in this marriage!
There I was, a man accustomed to being in charge, lying in bed wearing a long women's raincoat inside out, every snap fastened and the hood tied tightly beneath my chin, simply because my tiny Italian wife had told me to.
But that first night taught me something important.
There's a tremendous difference between fantasizing about surrendering control and experiencing it when the other person starts developing ideas of her own.
And my wife was only beginning to discover just how much she enjoyed this new side of herself.
The woman I'd always known as my loving wife would eventually become Madam.
And I would become her slave.
But that transformation didn't happen overnight.
There were many conversations, unexpected discoveries, shopping adventures, and some rather ridiculous situations still to come.
Not to mention a growing collection of women's raincoats that would eventually make my original blue Farmerrain look rather innocent.
But those are stories for another day.
For now, I'll leave you with the thought that crossed my mind as I lay awake that first night.
“What on earth have I started?”
Looking back, I can tell you one thing.
I hadn't seen anything yet.
"Be careful what you wish for."

Re: Be Careful What You Wish For… (Explicit)
Fascinating insight into life, thanks for sharing. Looking forward to part 2! I believe everyone has different sides to their character. For many years before retirement I considered myself alpha with the position in work that demanded strong character, decisiveness and dealing with others equally hungry for that top job and salary. But through it all I didn’t want to be a strong alpha male, I wanted to be a strong alpha female and longed to go in to work dressed as a bitch boss in black shiny PVC skirt and white plastic blouse. It never happened, I probably would have been fired, but now I work quietly for a charity part time and volunteer dog walking for the local trust and love not being alpha just bumbling through life. Still I would dearly loved to have seen the look in the eyes of my staff if Cherie walked in!
BTW I don’t think there was anything explicit in your story so you might want to consider changing that as it will deter some members from reading which would be a shame.

I agree with Cherie, lose the 'explicit' it will deter many readers, including me! I only read it because the first few lines clearly rang bells, a familiar situation! Looking forward to your next chapter.
