Whilst personally i love shiny pvc trenchcoats, i can see the appeal of shiny satin. Nothing like a lovely lady in a shiny trenchcoat with a belt pulled tightly in at the waist.

Do you plan on wearing the trench out and about every rainy day?

I would be keen to wear any day as long as weather isn't too hot. I want a dress code imposed on me but unfortunately no one in life at moment to do it :(

The capes are nice too but the trench is a must for me. Am a total lover of satin, love the feel and look. I have tried one on before and cannot describe how I felt but it was amazing
Ordered one of these a few weeks ago, should be arriving Friday or next Monday at the latest...as I said, much better bargain than the macs they sell on WeatherVain:

Naturally I went with the red, that has to be the sexiest trench I've ever laid eyes on.

Just got the coat yesterday, it looks even hotter in person. Heavy double-texture rubberized satin, but still with a strong rubber odor (it almost looks like the lining is just a satiny sheen bonded to the rubber). I previously bought one of their other trenches in black lightweight single texture satin, but this one is of a much higher quality in terms of workmanship - and not much more expensive either.
