Hi wet,

Firstly, you're right! it wasn't rude at all, I was merely pointing out what I felt were genuine issues.

1) Even if orders are for one of items, that's no excuse for overcharging, and there are plenty of reputable couriers out there who can offer a better, cheaper service for orders with multiple items, there's no reason to loose on postage or overcharge, I ordered my short raincoat on Friday, it's now Thursday and it still hasn't arrived, does that sound like a £6.95 service to you?

2) Fair point, if it was actually manufactured by HKM, but until mine arrives and I've had a chance to look at the label, I have no reason to think that the name is all that's specialised about it, the likelihood is it's been produced under licence in China, I'm fully prepared to apologise if it has been produced here in the EU.

3) I certainly have to apologise for your 3rd point, I hadn't noticed the date Vixxy had joined, and if she is open minded enough to accept that the raincoats her company are selling may be worn and used for more that horse riding I'm sure she'll make a welcome addition to the forum!

Good afternoon

I have been following this thread.
I like Rainydee think that this coat is mass produced in The far east.
I saw them on the internet and from two companies in the UK

It looks similar to one by a company called Go Design from a few years back
That was from the Far East.
I await for you to see what it says on the label when it comes.

Best wishes

Paul

Only dull cloud here in Scotland now the snow has gone, so no need to wear my HKM mac that still hasn't arrived! (that's a full week now, and the Easter weekend to come, I'm so glad I paid a premium price for P+P)

A week for a coat to arrive?
PVC U LIKE took two days and that is standard postage
(That was this week)
Ordered Monday night came Thursday morning.
No complaints with them.
Rain this weekend!
(Maybe!)

When did you order your raincoat? I've just had a reply to an email I sent asking where mine was and this is what I got back:

Hello Dave,

It has been 5 working days since your order was placed. As our website states delivery is usually between 5-7 working days and on some occasions if there is a large demand for an item up to 12 working days. We do not keep the item you ordered in stock as it is not usually a well sold line within the equestrian community in the UK, but we offer it regardless. We place twice weekly orders from HKM Germany, orders are usually with us within 3 working days. As soon as the item arrives with us it will be sent out to you without delay. Unfortunately the timing includes a bank holiday weekend and this will obviously slow things down.

I apologise for any inconvenience caused. You will receive a despatch email as soon as your order is sent out to you.

Best Regards,

Karen

so the plot thickens RainyDee, basically they are selling something they haven't got but will get if someone orders one. Makes you wonder how many companies actually do this kind of thing.
