have worn this a couple of times out in the rain, feel slightly self-conscious though but not enough to not wear it, plus the lack of rain has only iven two opportunities since i bought the thing in March

Nice ones Merv & Ray. Take it you have trousers to go with jacket Merv.
Broad minded enough to acknowledge we all enjoy different things:)

the jacket doesnt come with trousers but i do own some of other brands. It is quite a long jacket so it is fine in light rain

I wear a clear see thru 3/4 length plastic raincoat that covers the tops of my wellies. Love it. Often get approving looks from women at bus stops in the shops.

Yep, no reason to fear the "NO FEAR" anorak! Have an older one of these myself. Nice garment. Ya gotta figure if the company made it (for the bmx and active sports set), then it's gotta be cool, right? Have similar tops and bottoms from Polaris and Can Am as well

Do you think 'branded' items such as Merv's great No Fear jacket are more acceptable than unbranded similar items

It seems that many 'high end' designers are quite happy to put their names on such items but they wouldnt really want to be associated with plastic macs

Here's an example of a Calvin Klein, sadly its a bit too thick & heavy for my liking

well we all like the branded clothing don't we. I too had one of those Calvin Klein jackets but like you found it far too thick a material so sold it on. Will stick to their underwear. The no fear one is just the right type of material, and was a bargain also at ten pounds

I dont tink CK did themselves any favours with that item, I found it almost impossible to move in it and far too hot to wear, and not hot in a good way!
