Round three of doctored photos.

I agree with all the comments on wanting to go back to when plastic macs were the fashion.

It's rained since early this morning today so it's almost time to put mine on for the second time and go to MacDonalds for a coffee - and a stroll in the rain.

Great work in cleaning up those photos! Thanks. Now we need a time machine to make it real.

Episode 5.

You're right about wanting a time machine - or a plastic with all the good qualities, but didn't tear.

Scientific fantasy unfortunately unless you count woven nylon as plastic.

Strictly speaking it is a form, but it's not the same.

Why do plastic macs look so sexy? Because they present a contradiction - they show what's inside them and superficially hide their contents too.

I think the 'second skin' factor , and the protective sense comes into the equation too.

However, stage six photos attached.

Apologies folks - I clicked on the submit button instead of the browse button to add the photos.

Think you have hit the nail on the head with "Because they present a contradiction - they show what's inside them and superficially hide their contents too."

Tempting the eye & the mind....

Take your tranquilisers. The next part of the saga coming up.

I find this one quite captivating, possibly because of the youthful innosence in the image without it having any paedophile connotations as far as I'm concerned, although I could imagine it doing so for those with such inclinations.
