How old is your oldest rain gear??

Lets see who may have the oldest Raincoat, Sou'wester, rainsuit etc?
Mine is a Swedish navy heavy slicker
It has a marking of Three crowns on it
Two on one row a single crown under it.
This is dated 1966.

Yes that is the three crowns!
I have the same coat as your green one but mine is dated 1976 or so.

I have a Diamond - Maxron black oilskin mac..Scottish manufacture..made by Edward McBean and Co,,,Patent applied for by the company in 1953 for this make. No date on the mac but could be 50's ? Still in lovely condition and a great aroma !!

Semi-transparent white plastic Fiorucci zippered rainjacket purchased in 1979 which I still use occasionally.

I still have a long clear plastic mac with an attached hood and matching belt, snap fasteners which I purchased from Miss Sainsbury in 1977. Also have a few items of semi-see--through plastic which were bought in 1979.

Without a doubt, some of the oldest gear I have are my Helly Hansen yachting jackets and pullovers. I have seen ads for them dating back to the early 1960s!
