What would you like to see on a fetish rainwear site?

Following on from the Regnfrakker thread I started, I got to wondering, with all the rainwear sites that have come and gone over the years, what kind of things would you like to see on a fetish rainwear site that would keep you coming back to it regularly? personally, I'd like to see a site where all members made an effort to contribute, but I guess that isn't going to happen!

If there are enough suggestions, I may rekindle my interest in Drupal and have a go at building a site again.

Over five years, I've tried to post new content from shoots I have done, but the economy has put a damper on things. I am a refugee from Rainweartalk, and it seems regnfrakker.dk. What I liked about the later was the pics members posted of themselves and significant others in their great variety of rainwear. I haven't done chats but would love top start them up again because I'm pining to talk to others.
Paul has done a good job with this one with links to rainwear fetish producers and keeping it relatively free of spam.

RD, hopefully this will start a good discussion. Firstly, thanks for all your hard work Ray, Paul, Henry, the FM and 3xl people, and everybody else trying to provide a service for a very individualised, fragmented community.

The problems will always be twofold: the one you mention (not enough contributors), and the one I mentioned: the individual nature of fetishes. For instance, I'm sure some people will see my tag in the 'last contributor' column and think to themselves, 'oh yeah, BJ - he's that Aussie bloke who's into plastic rain hats and umbrellas', which most of the rest of you have no particular view about the former and actively dislike the latter.

The issue with contributors will only get worse. As a former contributor I have run out of new material I feel I have any right to bandy around, it's getting harder to find anyway, and I've run out of motivation, having 'done my dues' in the early days and now it's somebody else's turn. I don't believe I'm alone with those feelings.

I have a thing for rain hats and thought about buying a sou'wester to accessorize my rainwear models. You are right about the individual tastes in this particular fetish. I prefer lasses and lads in rain trousers and bib and braces. They can wear a full body mac and I would be happy if I get a glimpse of them underneath. As for material, I started HazGirl because most of the rainwear fetish is geared toward rain coats, jackets, and macs and not the trousers and bib and braces. I am also a big fan of wearing multiple layers of rainwear and going commando once in while in my gear.

I miss the support and positive response I get from my work because it motivates me to invest in new gear and photograph more models.

It's great to see that a few other people are also thinking about building rainwear websites; if you need any help, advice with hosting, please let me know; I know some great hosts who are very tolerant/adult friendly and offer heaps of hosting storage & bandwidth for surprisingly low rates. Obviously, they are not free but you won't have to put up with bloody ads or banners or viruses either.

Paul knows heaps about FTP transfer (i.e uploading content) so if anyone needs help with that, just ask him. Henry (ShinyAsianGirls) & Ray (RainwearCafe.uk) are also pretty cluey as well.

I guess that I might as well reveal that I have been rebuilding an all rainwear version of Tied and True Tales featuring the beautiful and very sexy SeaChel in rainwear (with a totally different name and look ...) watch this space!! One of the reasons I'm doing this is because flickr just doesn't offer any scope for individuality among other issues which I won't go into here.

We also like full rainwear coverage (i.e pants & bibs) so you will also see those on our new website along with most of the images on flicker and heaps of new material too.

A couple of other people mentioned receiving an greater ability to meet other like minded people through their websites and it is also one of the reasons I want to launch my new page soon. I really miss that contact and friendships I made through Tied & True Tales.
