I got one a few months ago. Wore it out in the rain for the first time yesterday! Love the shine & crackling, rustling sounds it makes when I walk around in it!

I prefer a rainhat to a hood, but it's not a deal breaker for me. Hopefully, I'll be posting some photos of my new mac soon.

Me too; I wore it with my rather large SBR sou'wester from WeatherVain. A hood that doesn't have a drawstring or an extended brim is more of a nuisance than anything else. I was going to take it to my seamstress to see if the hood can be removed without compromising the integrity of the coat.
