That moment. The arrival of your new mac. (No explicit)

Post by Shinyhood »

There it was. I spend far too much time trawling the internet hoping to satisfy my lust for shiny rainwear. But once in a while, be it Ebay, vinted, schpock or whoever, there it is!

'High shine mac. Only worn a couple of times so in as new condition. Size L. Very glossy, shiny pvc. Large attached hood. Full heavy duty front zipper with storm flap. Very soft, very smooth, tactile. Check dimentions.'

Dimensions checked. Perfect. Buy it now price is a little steep, but if I try an offer, someone else may come in and buy. For the sake of a tenner and huge disappointment, I hit the buy it now key.

I impatiently wait the coming days, checking the mail religiously, checking the tracking icon, and eventually, it arrives, well wrapped in a plastic bag with lots of gaffer tape. I was surprised at the bulk and weight of it. It bodes well. I carefully cut across the edge making sure not to damage the goods within. A sharp intake of breath as the first glint of shiny pvc emerges. Slowly pulling it from its packaging, the glorious oily, liquidy vinyl, pours over the kitchen work surface. Still fully zipped up, the hood finally pops out of the packaging. Highly shiny both inside and out. Its thick, roped drawstring and brass toggles neatly tied in a bow. I stare in almost disbelief, gently handling the lushious, soft flowing material. I've never felt anything so sumptious! Spreading it along the worktop, I then start working its strong rubberized zipper downward revealing its equally shiny almost fluid interior lining. I am astonished how beautiful and tactile it is. It is demanding me to put it on immediately. How could I resist. I was only wearing a teeshirt and jeans, my arms slid into the sleeves easily, slight padding, like a puffer jacket, created slight resistance as the soft vinyl washes gently over my arms. I wrap it around me. A perfect fit. Arms, a perfect length. Tentatively, I now zipped myself in. Oh my God. It feels devine. Now caressing and cuddling myself, firmly wrapped in its magnificent folds. Finally, oh so finally, the very best bit. Pulling on the voluminous hood. It is huge. I snuggle my face into its all embracing lining. Gently tugging on the rope toggles pulls the hood so seductively around my head. I'm in love. I am so, so in love..........

Comment removed and a warning given. Knock it off, bud. It was nasty and unnecessary, and you know it. (Admin)

Just had one of these.....!
Arrived by courier, a beautiful jet black Asos thick vinyl zip up jacket, with a big attached hood, big patch pockets and size 26! Huge on me, but zipped in with hood up, it engulfs me. Its virtually unworn. It has that lovely 'oily' smell, its very creaky and has its deep unworn shine still. And all for £20.00 including postage. Thank you ebay! My constant source of vinyl wear. I must have spent a fortune over the years. I have several others of this style, various colours, but black is my favourite. Some I have modified slightly, adding drawcords around the hood and bottom hem, which pulls the vinyl in delightfully. Now we are coming into the lovely seasons of cold, wet and windy, I will enjoy wearing my new acquisition, probably with my little mods, hood up, at the first chance I get. We've got an ABB in the Cotswolds next week. It will certainly take an airing there. Lovely😁😁

There is something special about waiting for a new piece of kit. The purchase, the apprehensions, the waiting, and finally the arrival. If its better than expected, a hallelujah moment! Enjoy!!!!

You have definitely nailed it. Whether it be ebay, vinted or amazon, the anticipation of the arrival of a new bit of kit is the best. The actual arrival is even better if the bit of kit is as expected or even better. Ive been lucky to have enjoyed that fantastic buzz a few times.

Ps. Thank you Mason for deleting that very crude mans remarks. There is always, it seems, one sicko who likes to spoil it for the rest. He has been an annoyance for a while.
