In my first job a girl wore a black nylon tracksuit to work. I mean proper rustling nylon. No one said a thing. What was amazing was that we were quite a formal company and being early 80’s power dressing was a thing, but she just sat all day working away in shiny nylon, while everyone else wore suits (not suites) or skirts and blouses.
