The more often I wear my PVC mac, the less I get aroused...

Hi PVC luvers out there,
did you experience the same feelings as I had :
I noticed, that the more often I wear my pvc mac (e.g. during a dog walk, or at an open air festival),
the more it gets beginning as "usual", and I do not get attracted by it ? I even do not get aroused the more
I wear my pvc macs ? Isn't it strange ?
How do you feel ? Does anybody feel the same like I do ?

I don't see anything strange about it. Anything that excites you sexually will have its power to do so diminished over time, though hopefully not extinguished entirely. Familiarity breeds a lack of response, you might say.

Do you still become excited if you see someone else wearing raingear inpublic ?

I think it is natural to become less aroused if you are wearing your raingear more frequently and becoming used to the normality. Perhaps if someone comments or remarks positively on your pvc mac in the future it will regain some of its old excitement. Perhaps be more daring where you wear the mac and wear brighter colours !

It's a physiological thing: would you expect your dick to stand to attention all day long? Of course not!

Also for me, the emotional feeling I get when wearing a plastic raincoat is also just as important as the usually short-lived "stiffie" when putting everything on.

Well I guess too much, too often becomes routine which can only have a negative effect.

My partner dared me to wear her hooded yellow PVC-U-Like mac to post a letter late one night, I was very aroused for hours after that. I've certainly found it very refreshing from time to time!

Never been so daring as to wear a woman's raincoat in public...one morning when my wife was out of town I was up early in the morning & took the trash to the curb in her black vinyl raincoat & hat, that's about as close as I've come.

Wore & at times carried my own PUL Blue gents raincoat for the two days of last years Goodwood Revival - was essential wear Saturday morning & Sunday afternoon - I was dry - lots of people were not!!

Much of my rainwear is plastic or PVC that is what you would call "unisex". Anoraks, rain jackets as opposed to full length raincoats or ponchos. First, if it's raining heavily, I'm fixin' to stay dry - to heck with what's trendy, whatever that is. Always feel "comfortable" wrapped and dry. Arousal is less simply because I've got something else I'm doing that takes me outside. Now indoors that's a different matter!

Same here really. Most of my pvcwear is more fetish related anyway (catsuits, jeans, suits ect) so I wouldn't wear these outside other than possibly late at night in the car or sat in our back garden. Though, I do wear puffa jackets out and about in the day if it's cold enough though, something else I've desires for but unless your in the know nobody clocks you. Most of our rainwear belongs to my partner though we do like to share. My missus also likes to wear my puffa's- mostly around the bedroom. And of course being very warm to wear indoors- you don't need very much else!
