Ant and Dec

Post by pvcdreams.old »

For you guys that are based in the UK, it might be a good idea to record Ant and Dec on Saturday because they ordered a load of plastic macs, capes, poncho's and rain hats for this Saturday show. Aparently people are going to be gunged! should be good viewing. Apologies if they don't wear the gear but if you record it you will be able to wiz through to the good bit's. :P

Thanks for the info, I'm getting excited already!

I have been searching for a clip or images of the model Caprice who was on the A&D Saturday Night Takeway show a few years back (I believe there was another girl in a similar situation?).

It was one of those secret filming sketches on a spoof childrens show where they were in disguise. I can't remember why but she was wearing a semi-clear plastic mac and yellow sou'wester. Any one else remember it? I'm sure I didn't dream it but there again!!

I recorded the Ant & Dec show and there was a plastic raincape section with the teams getting gunged. The capes were red and blue and they wore matching sowesters as well.

The only let down was the intro to the game showed contestants in hooded clear raincoats which were much sexier. I'll try and record it from the HD player, but it will probably be on youtube by tomorrow anyway.

Wow, what a fantastic game, it was great to see any rainwear in any show these days especially as it was total coverage protection. Not enough close-ups for me unless you're into Ant & Dec in plastic capes, wonder why they had rainhats instead of the hoods? Pity the two ladies on the red team were spared getting gunged. I agree with PVC_Pete, the quick flash of the rehersals with the crew clad in semi-clear plastic raincoats looked better than the red and blue capes and the 'gunge' showed up better.
I can't find the scene on You-Tube yet but it is on the ITV site (UK only)
I presume PVC-U-LIKE supplied the raingear? Would be interesting to hear their comments. Wonder what happened to the gear after the show?

It was great seeing PUL products on Ant and Dec last night, the production company were impressed with the riancoats and capes and said that we were a "great find" and that they would be coming back for more gear in the future so I will keep you posted of developments. I wouldn't be surprised that Ant and Dec and took the raincapes home! you never know!

I will post some screen shots on http://www.pvcrainwear.com sometime this week.
