A couple of weeks ago, I posted about my new rubber raincoat that I found in an op-shop, and in the manner of such threads, we ended up talking about how hard it is to find decent rainwear

then ... only last Wednesday, I found not one but TWO plastic raincoats in one day: a beautiful clear green number from an Aussie manufacturer called "Sabena" in a Salvos store before discovering a heavenly thick, yet VERY smooth and slippery shiny yellow unlined PVC jaclet from Warner Bros with a small image of Tweety carring a red umbrella on the front in a Savers store. Pure gold!!! It fits me just fine; I love wearing it especially around home when it's cold.

Was that lucky or what?

Now I'll probly find nothing for months ... that's the way it goes

Alright for some, I actually looked in afew charity (what you seem to call op) shops today and nothing at all. Would have been handy as it started raining and I didnt have a coat with me. And before I get grief it was a warm day and I used the bus. The sun was shining when I went out and its just too much to cart stuff about just in case especially when shopping in the city where most stuff is undercover anyway
