Rainmac for cameras
Re: Rainmac for cameras
It's not as funny as you think, Paul. They really have had PVC rainmacs for cameras - in the days of cine cameras. I believe the BBC actually devised their own. They tend not to work very well if you let the rain get in them. A UV filter was used over the lens to protect that.

Re: Rainmac for cameras
Thank you for the history Domino.
I know it is not funny as I have been looking for a rain cover for my own video camera.
The one shown there is £79 in the shops.
The umbrella device is $32 from America.
Some of them cost more than £200!
Best wishes
Paul

I don't know!
Maybe make something similar.
Old pvc mac sleeve to cover the camera possibly?
Or one of those large clear pvc zip bags as that is what they look like?
