a weekend at Goodwood Festival of Speed followed by Grandprix at Silverstone and trust me it was wellington boots and macs everywhere, and not just the cheap disposable type. It was mac heaven regardless of your preference for either PVC, Nylon....

Sounds wonderful - and hoping for another wet week end this week? ;)

Monday down here in Essex saw tow ladies in the space of an hour wearin PVC Jackets One red one navy blue.
Yesterday saw a lady of about 60 wearing a green nylon whilst she was walking.
So mac wearers are out there!

Indeed some nice sightings but it has to be admitted...it is a rarity to see a lady in what we regard as a sensible good looking mac

so my observation...a middle aged lady in a PVC mac from Rainmac in Midhurst

This is the first time I have seen one worn by a lady for real...always admired them in the photos in their brochures and also on hangers in their Midhurst shop

And more...A lady in an attractive leopard patterned knee length PVC mac standing all alone waiting on Bank Underground Station

Oh yes and plenty of this season"s Polyester Cotton Trenchcoats

Not every mac weaers recognition of a "looking good" mac but I must admit I do think these are so dead smart and dead sexy

well if rainwear doesnt get an outing this summer (or at least the past couple of months) then it never will. Much as I enjoy rainwear I do like a bit of sun as well to balance things. Hopefully we may get more settled weather next week in the UK

PVC4 wrote:Well, for the lover of shiny raincoats, this is great! I`ve seen a few pvc coats down here in Cornwall glistening with rain drops, although the bizarre desire to wear gortex and other more `moden`materials is still rife. All the toddlers are is pvc, all the parents in nylon - if only it was the other way around!

Saw a lovely middle aged lady in a long black pvc mac in Truro recently, belted and sexy as hell. I was compelled to follow her a way along the pavement and into the book shop, where I stopped her, complimented her on her coat and asked where she bought it. She couldn`t remember exactly as she`d had it for a few years, but she looked much happier after I`d complimented her taste. She lives locally, so hopefully we`ll meet again soon.
I've seen her in Truro too.
She looks wonderful!
