Anyone know where this is from?

I came across this shot recently, it appears to be a scene from some sort of show/play, anyone any ideas?

The file name is in French. Whether it is from a French speaking country or posted by a French speaker is another matter. Has the look of stage play about it though. Not alot of help I know

Ray, many thanks, good detective work.

It comes from the opera 'Tales of Hoffman', a Russian production at the Marinsky Theatre in St Petersburg last year. I have only found one other image but although there are plenty of clips on You-Tube etc. I can't find any of this scene.
