My big kids rainwear coat.

Post by raincoatboy »

It was waiting for me when I got home. It has a strong pvc smell and it's about the same thickness as a pul raincoat. It's also very sticky and very noisy. Apart from the $82 it cost me I love the hell out of it.

I ordered one of their raincoats in red and blue. The PVC is shiny, soft, smooth and rubbery. The raincoat produces some nice rustling, creaking and crackling sort of noises when handled or worn. :D The PVC smells identical to the Shiny Patent Blue (SHB) material offered by PVC-U-Like. If the raincoat was shiny on both sides (in other words, unlined), that would be even better. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. The metallic popper buttons are of a good quality.

For those who like shiny, soft and noisy PVC, then you should try P-U-L's PA3 raincoats in SHB, GC, GCB and GCR. :D

It would be great if P-U-L was able to offer a thicker (say, 300-400 micron), but soft (high plasticiser content) variation of their SHB, Shiny Red, Shiny Black, and Glass Clear (GC, GCB, GCR, etc) PVC materials. Also, unlined (i.e. shiny both sides) versions of their SHB, Shiny Red and Shiny Black PVC would be warmly welcomed!
