Do we get photos then?? lol lolBill_P wrote:just got the red coat today (even at 20% off I couldn't afford to splurge on both the red & the navy, and the wife already has a navy slicker anyway), and it is AWESOME! Can't wait for her to try it on...supposed to rain tomorrow so it may get "baptized" right away!

Re: Asos
ASOS is a good source for Macs
https://marketplace.asos.com/search?q=m ... s&oss_ss=1
Its just a shame that the words 'vintage' & 'retro' have replaced the words old & second hand and the prices some of the sellers associate with those words
Some nice images though

Only if I can surreptitiously snap one off with my cell phone...my wife is rather camera shy when it comes to posing in her raincoats.matron69 wrote:Do we get photos then?? lol lolBill_P wrote:just got the red coat today (even at 20% off I couldn't afford to splurge on both the red & the navy, and the wife already has a navy slicker anyway), and it is AWESOME! Re: Asos
The German army transparent cape is a great value, even at 10 quid. Stateside there were a couple surplus stores that carried them. They are actually quite practical for a number of reasons, plus a nice heavy plastic. A couple I got were especially shiny and stiffer, which is my preference. But they are a nice cape for traditional purposes as well. I think I paid more like five or six dollars each for the ones I got. They are quite long in length.
