If you could go back in time. What rainwear would you get

Late 50's: I would love to have 3 clear pvc over printed cloth long raincoats in my size (52" chest, 18" sleeve): two that are shiny and buttery soft, and one that is an embossed pvc. All should have matching bonnets or hoods. Other than those, I have to say I have enough raincoats.

I’d find my childhood raincoat. Green, scented in rubber and from the age of five, capable of arousing a little erection.
It had a lively check lining. And it was from this that I became obsessed with Mac’s, raincoats and later, trenchcoats. I d love to go back to then. Late 50s and early 60s. But one day, my coat of delight disappeared. My mother knew better. Not. I’ve wanted to recreate ever since.

Oh, that might get expensive... I'd try to get some of the shiny Rukkas as well as Klepper Rillos and Klepper capes - esp. as custom order in longer length.

Me too! Every colour in every style from inception. I have a very early bri nylon long over the head cagoule from the early days, and a full white waterproof all in one, never seen another like it, plus stuff from across the 80’s and 90’s. Some of the tricolour ones up to a pvc backed nylon one from the early 2000’s until they went all fabricy on the outside.


To have one of every colour and style would be a dream come true!
