Oh I do like denim skirts and dresses, there is something about the way they hang that I think is really attractive and as pvcluver has said are just lovely to wear under a pvc coat.

Really into the boho, prairie look skirts at the moment. Have two lovely ones that are ankle length, flowy with different layers. Look great with a long raincoat or longer length cagoule

Made myself a long draw cord waisted skirt from a torn PUL Black and White spotted raincoat. Love that skirt, when worn under a long PUL raincoat.

Skirts - yes 100% - but must be PVC, plastic or faux leather. Mine are PVC (with a cotton lining) because they hold their shape. I prefer the feel of unlined plastic, but they tend to ride up and crumple which is a less flattering look.

I found a lovely Moncler down filled skirt and matching long down coat on the landfill site. They're old, probably from around mid 2000's. The skirt is a long pencil skirt with a long slit up the back and and the nylon of both is not shiny like the newer stuff. Although the zips and press studs still worked and the nylon seemed ok, unfortunately the down had gone clumpy and no matter what my gf tried, she couldn't fix it. Luckily, the local dry cleaners knew what to do and they were saved from the bin again. It's one of our favourite outfits for bedroom fun!

After reading this I just had to go and put on my own A Line shiny black PVC skirt, black shiny boots, white satin blouse and 3/4 length black PVC Mac and risk a quick walk in my back garden.
Absolutely wonderful experience.
